Congress leader and Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unknown people in Punjab’s Mansa district on Sunday. Two others are said to be injured in the firing.
“Sidhu Moose Wala was brought dead,” confirms Dr Ranjeet Rai, Civil Surgeon, Mansa Hospital. The incident took place a day after the Punjab government withdrew his security cover. The police said that Moosewala has suffered bullet injuries.

The singer had joined the Congress party in December last year. The incident took place a day after the Punjab government withdrew his security cover.
