Kakinada: BC welfare minister Srinivasa Venu Gopalakrishna has said TD chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu may go to jail again in skill development scheme scam if the Supreme Court cancels his bail. The minister told the media in the rural mandal here on Thursday that Chandrababu should face punishment for his errors. “Naidu is afraid of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy after seeing the people’s support for the CM,” he said. He said Naidu had suppressed the SC, BC and other downtrodden sections without giving an uplift to them. Later, the minister held a meeting with the fishermen community at Dowleswaram. He said, “Jagan Reddy proved that BCs are not a vote bank, but they are the backbone for the society.” He said Jagan Mohan Reddy as CM did not show any partiality and his aim was to reach the benefits of his government’s welfare schemes to every poor family.
