Meanwhile, CM Ashok Gehlot condemned the incident and assured strict action against the accused.

“I appeal to everyone not to try to spoil the atmosphere by sharing the video of this incident. By sharing the video, the criminal’s purpose of spreading hatred in the society will be successful,” he said.

“It’s a sad and shameful incident. There’s tense atmosphere in the nation today. Why don’t PM and Amit Shah ji address the nation? There is tension among people. PM should address the public and say that such violence won’t be tolerated and appeal for peace,” he added.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan LoP Gulab Chand Kataria said, “We’ve spoken to the Chief Minister. Those involved be arrested and assistance be given to victim family. This incident isn’t possible due to single person, it could be because of some organisation. It’s horrendous and failure of administration.”

Internet services have been temporarily suspended for the next 24 hours in the Udaipur district.
