Hyderabad: The National Sailing Championships in the sub juniors under 16 were sailed at Bombay on Chowpatty Beach with light to medium winds and the Telangana sailors from the Yacht Club of Hyderabad excelled with 5 positions in the top 11 including 3 medalsDeekshita Komaravelly of Rasoolpura in Hyderabad gets the overall Bronze and the Girls gold . With two more medals Deekshita is now certain of a position in the National Squad which will represent India at various internationals Banny Bongur also of Rasoolpura Hyderabad missed the gold by a sliver of just a few points . He too clearly makes it to the national squad Both are from Udbhav School and are being coached at The YCH Sports Foundation at Husain Sagar.
