Hyderabad: A woman has filed a complaint against Telugu actor Raj Tarun at the Narsingi police station, levelling various allegations, including cheating, against him.In her complaint, the woman alleged that despite being in a relationship with her for 11 years and marrying her in secret, Tarun had refused to marry her in public. She claimed that Tarun has distanced himself from her due to his relationship with a Mumbai-based actress.The complainant also stated that she had received threatening calls from unknown numbers, to leave Tarun alone.The complainant was earlier arrested in a drug case, spending approximately 45 days in police custody. During this time, she alleges that Tarun showed no concern for her situation.Sources said that Tarun was in a relationship with the complainant from 2012 to 2017 but ended it due to her involvement in drugs and other reasons surrounding it. It was reported that he was blackmailed for money and that the complainant was living with her boyfriend in his own house.Narsingi inspector G. Hari Krishna Reddy said that the investigation is underway and will take the appropriate actions as per law after the investigation.Speaking to media persons, Tarun said: “It was shocking and disappointing to hear the false allegations levelled against me. We had been in a relationship for 11 years, and we decided to part ways according to a mutual understanding. I have never cheated or misled her, and I never tried to defame her in the drug case. All the allegations are baseless.””The allegations are totally false. In her complaint, she mentioned that I had intentionally involved her in a drugs case, which is not true. We did not get married. She claims we had a temple marriage, and to others, she claims I abandoned her after promising marriage. I am going to file a counter complaint, and then the factual reasons will come out,” he said.
