He Has A Lot of Family Members Who Have Played in the NFL
Nick isn’t the only member of the Bosa family to be a pro football player, far from it, in fact. His older brother Joey Bosa also played at Ohio State, and he’s been a linebacker for the Los Angeles Chargers since 2016. Their dad John Bosa was also a defensive end for the Miami Dolphins for three seasons from 1987 to 1989.
The family connections to the NFL don’t stop there though. His cousin Jake Kumerow is also a wide receiver, who has played for a variety of teams, including the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and more. He’s currently a wide-receiver. His uncle Eric Kumerow was a linebacker for the Miami Dolphins for three seasons, as well as one for the Chicago Bears. His late grandfather Palmer Pyle played for the Baltimore Colts, Oakland Raiders, and Minnesota Vikings. His late great uncle Mike Pyle was a center for the Chicago Bears from 1961 to 1969.
He Loves Juicing
Nick partnered with the juicing company Hurom, and he spoke about his fondness for using his juicer in a series of videos for them. He revealed that he got into a juicing after suffering an injury during the 2022 season. “Juicing changed my life,” he said in one clip. “You could tell after a lot of time of staying consistent with it, you feel better, and you perform better.”
He’s Related to an Infamous Mobster
Besides those numerous football-playing relatives, Nick also has a connection to the crime world in his family tree. He’s the great-grandson of late Chicago Outfit leader Tony Accardo, according to SF Gate. Tony was nicknamed “Joe Batters,” and he had many connections to other infamous gangsters, like Jack “Machine Gun” McGurn and Al Capone. Tony became the boss of the Outfit in the late 40s, and became the official authority in the early 70s. He died in 1992 of respiratory failure at 86.
