Mumbai: Vantara, the renowned wildlife rescue and rehabilitation organisation founded by philanthropist Anant Ambani, has unveiled its latest initiative, Vantarian Rescue Rangers, at the Hamleys Wonderland Carnival in Mumbai. This unique, immersive adventure will run until December 30, aiming to inspire children and families with compassion and action for wildlife conservation.Participants embark on an interactive journey simulating the challenges of wildlife rescue, including freeing entangled birds, feeding rescued animals, and learning to protect habitats. The adventure culminates in rescuing one of Santa’s missing animals, emphasizing the critical fight against wildlife trafficking.Children completing the activities will receive a rescued animal toy, accompanied by the real-life story of a Vantara resident, reinforcing the message, “When you save a life, you are responsible for it forever.” Adding to the carnival’s charm, animal mascots, life-sized models of Vantara’s famous elephants, Pratima and Maniklal, and VR tours showcasing rescued animals enhance the experience.Vantara, located in Jamnagar, Gujarat, spans 3,000 acres and houses over 78,000 animals from 1,500 species, including 200 rescued elephants. It features world-class facilities, including a multi-specialty wildlife hospital, advanced diagnostics like CT scans and MRIs, and enriched habitats tailored to help animals recover and thrive.Vantarian Rescue Rangers aims to educate children on real-world wildlife challenges while fostering values of kindness, responsibility, and environmental stewardship. This initiative underscores Vantara’s mission of inspiring the next generation to protect animals and preserve their natural habitats.
