Hyderabad: The Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Union (Central-Hyderabad) on Wednesday submitted a representation to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, seeking early resolution of pending issues concerning the state governemnt’s employees and pensioners. TNGOs general secretary S.M. Hussaini (Mujeeb) submitted the representation to Revanth Reddy during a meeting.The issues raised by Mujeeb include sanction of all pending dearness allowance instalments and payment of arrears in cash at once. He sought implementation of the Pay Revision Commission from July 1, 2023, with 51 per cent fitment and payment of arrears in cash at once.The other demands include abolition of contributory pension scheme (CPS) and restoration of the old pension scheme (OPS), implementation of employees health scheme (EHS) with equal contribution by the government and beneficiaries (employees and pensioners).Mujeeb sought payment of all pending bills in the finance department, sanction of additional cadre strength in all the departments in newly formed districts.He also requested the CM to implement a 12.5 per cent quota in Secretariat by accommodating head of department employees, constitution of joint staff council (JSC) for redressal of employees’ issues and amendment of bye-laws besides recognition of TNGOs’ Union.
