TGPSC releases Group-3 Hall ticket Download Update

Hyderabad: Telangana state public service commission (TGPSC) has released an update over the download of hall tickets of Group-3 exams. A web note from the commission stated that candidates can download the hall tickets one week before the examination. The Group- III exams will be conducted on November 17 and 18. Joshi Honored with Distinguished Alumnus Award by NIT-Warangal Hyderabad: Dr Jaiteerth R. Joshi, programme director at the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), Hyderabad, has been awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award (DAA) by the NIT-Warangal for his contributions to skill development, especially in preparing engineering students for industry challenges. The award was presented by Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director of NIT Warangal. Speaking at the event, U. Raja Babu, director general of Missiles and Strategic Systems at DRDO, discussed emerging trends in warfare technology. Other awardees were Dr Glory Swarupa, Nagarjuna Venna, Prof. Veerachary, M. Shivaji and Prof. Singh for their contributions to academic excellence, technical innovation and industry collaboration. Endocrine Society of India Launches 24-Hour Fast on Oct 14 Hyderabad: The Endocrine Society of India has announced a 24-hour “Fasting for Justice” by healthcare professionals from 6 am on October 14, in solidarity with the doctors in Kolkata protesting the RG Kar Medical College incident. “We strongly condemn the wrongful arrest of junior doctors, who have been peacefully advocating for justice. The entire medical fraternity in India stands united with our junior doctors. As a symbol of our support, we propose a 24-hour fast for justice and encourage wearing black attire at work on October 14,” the statement from doctors read. HIS India Calls for Action Against Illegal Capture of Palapitta During Dasara Hyderabad: The Humane Society International India (HIS India) urged residents to report the illegal capture and mistreatment of the palapitta or Indian roller during Dasara. These birds often suffer cruel treatment, including wing trimming and gluing, the society said. Mishi Aggarwal, cruelty response specialist at HIS India, said the palapitta, the state bird of Telangana, had been historically mistreated due to superstitions about its auspiciousness. MHRB Opens Applications for Nursing Officer and Pharmacist Positions Hyderabad: The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHRB) released a notification to fill up 272 nursing officer (staff nurse) posts and 99 pharmacist (Grade 2) posts on Friday. The last date for application is October 14. A computer-based written test will be conducted on November 17. The deadline for the pharmacist (Grade 2) posts is October 21.
