Hyderabad: IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu on Saturday revealed that six international companies, including three from South Korea, had expressed interest in investing in the National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) at Zaheerabad.Addressing the India-Latin America and Caribbean Countries Business Conclave, organised by the Global India Business Forum (GIBF) in Hyderabad, he urged delegates from Latin American and Caribbean nations to encourage their industrialists to invest in Telangana. He noted that the trade policies implemented during US President Donald Trump’s first tenure, particularly the imposition of tariffs on goods from various countries, had inadvertently benefited India.“In today’s global context, many industrialists looking for new investment destinations are turning their focus towards India,” the minister said, adding that Telangana was working to seize these opportunities and attract increased foreign investment. He predicted that Telangana would play a key role in shaping India’s economic future.
