HYDERABAD: The results of the fifth-grade entrance examination conducted under the Telangana Gurukula Common Entrance Test (TG CET 2025) were released on Thursday by the Telangana State Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) on Thursday. Dr V.S. Alagu Varshini, chief convener of the TG CET, announced the results. The examination, held on February 23, was conducted for admissions into TGSWREIS, TGTWREIS, TGMJBPWREIS and TGREIS institutions. Out of 89,246 applicants, 84,672 students appeared for the examination. A total of 36,334 students have secured seats under the SC, ST, BC and OC categories. Results for 1,944 students from special categories had already been released earlier. The total number of available seats across Gurukula institutions for fifth-grade admissions is 51,408. Results for the remaining 13,130 seats will be announced in a phased manner. Officials stated that the department remains committed to ensuring a transparent and fair admission process for 2025-26.
