Bidar: The majestic Bidar Fort played host to a mesmerizing display on Friday, as the Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team put on a stunning air show that left spectators in awe. Led by Group Captain Gurpreet Singh Dhillon, the team of nine Surya Kiran aircraft executed a series of breathtaking maneuvers, captivating the crowd with their precision and artistry.The aircraft performed an array of impressive stunts, including vertical climbs, intricate crossovers, barrel rolls, and formations that showcased the national flag’s colors—saffron, white, and green. The sky was adorned with elaborate patterns, including heart shapes, as the planes flew in various configurations—solo, in pairs, and as a coordinated team—from different directions.Enthusiastic spectators, armed with cameras and smartphones, eagerly tried to capture every moment of the spectacle. Some focused on photographing the aerial patterns and recording videos, while others seized the chance to snap selfies against the backdrop of the dazzling display. The excitement was palpable as students, government employees, and their families gathered at the fort, eager to witness this extraordinary event.Deputy Commissioner Shilpa Sharma, District Police Superintendent Pradeep Gunti, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Shivkumar Sheelavant were present. The air show is set to continue on August 31, with all students from Bidar’s schools and colleges, along with government employees and their families, invited to attend and experience the thrill of the performance.
