Vijayawada: As part of the Viksit Bharat-2047 initiative, the state government is inviting suggestions from the public for crafting the Vikasith Andhra Pradesh-2047 plan. Special chief secretary B Rajasekhar stated this while participating as chief guest at the Independence Day celebrations held at the AP Secretariat on Thursday.He paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and unveiled the national flag. Rajasekhar said the central government has undertaken the Viksit Bharat-2047 programme with the aim of making India a developed country by 2047. Meanwhile, plans are being made in the districts for the finalising the Vikasith Andhra Pradesh-2047 plan. People can propose how the state should be governed.The senior official said he recently visited a remote area in West Godavari district where, “there are still people living by catching rats.” For the uplift of such families, appropriate steps need to be taken in the Vikasit Andhra Pradesh-2047 plan, he said.He advised the officers and staff to properly manage all types of documents that come to the state secretariat.General administration joint secretary Srinivas, DS General Ramasubbiah, CSO Krishnamurthy, secretariat employees association president Venkatrami Reddy, SPF police officers, staff etc participated in the event.
