Hyderabad: IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu on Friday said that the state government was planning to set up a software park and world-class convention centre in the eastern region of Hyderabad on par with the developed regions in west and south.After inaugurating the Credai Property Show near Nagole the Metro Rail station, the minister said that the state government had decided to develop the Metro connectivity till the Outer Ring Road. It was going to develop a Fourth City in 15,000 acres, besides Skill University and Sports University, and semiconductor industries are also coming in this part of the city.The Fourth City would be developed as a net-zero city. The government also wishes to promote the setting up of five-star hotels in eastern Hyderabad. An agency would be constituted to conduct the feasibility study to set up five star hotels.He asked Credai to associate with the state government in the Skill University, which would provide skilled manpower in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other allied sectors. MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy, Credai-Hyderabad president Rajashekhar Reddy and others took part in the meeting.Rajashekar Reddy said the metro rail network and rapid transit flyovers make Hyderabad’s east zone an attractive area for prospective homebuyers.The CREDAIbility-themed property show brings together RERA-registered real estate projects in the eastern regions of Hyderabad, offering a wide range of options. The areas featured include Tarnaka, Habsiguda, Uppal, Boduppal, Peerzadiguda, Medipally, Pocharam, Ghatkesar, Nacharam, ECIL Cross Roads, Sainikpuri, Kushaiguda, Nagaram, Nagole, Mansoorabad, Bandlaguda (East), LB Nagar, Saidabad, and Saroornagar.
