I will be honest, when I think of Pan Asian cuisine, I usually assume it’s all about the meat and seafood. But, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Shoyu, a cloud kitchen specialising in Pan Asian delights, has a vast array of options for vegetarians like me.I had been hearing rave reviews from my foodie friends about Shoyu, and I was excited to finally try it out. But, I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about the whole cloud kitchen concept. I mean, how can food that’s been packed and delivered possibly live up to the standards of a dine-in experience? Isn’t plating and presentation a huge part of the dining experience?Well, let me tell you, Shoyu completely blew me away. From the moment I unwrapped the packages, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the care that had gone into packaging each dish. The earthy tone and elegant packaging made me feel like I was unwrapping a gift. But, of course, the real test was the food itself. And, oh boy, did it deliver! I ordered a variety of dishes, including sushi, dimsum, and noodles, and each one was more delicious than the last. The Truffle Asparagus Avocado Roll was a standout for me. The combination of creamy avocado, crunchy asparagus, and earthy truffle was absolute perfection. And the Godzilla Roll, with its crunchy vegetable filling and burnt truffle cream, was equally impressive.I also loved the Avocado Aburi Nigiri, which was cooked to perfection. The subtle sweetness of the avocado paired beautifully with the savoury flavours of the nigiri. And the Pepper Pizzette, with its crispy base and flavourful topping, was a delightful surprise. But what truly impressed me was the variety of options available for vegetarians. From the Japanese Spinach Salad to the Charcoal Black & White Dimsum, each dish was carefully crafted to showcase the unique flavours and textures of Pan Asian cuisine. And, let’s not forget the noodles and rice dishes. The Lomein Noodle was cooked to perfection, with a delightful balance of textures and flavours. The Wok Fried Rice was equally impressive, with fried garlic and crunchy texture. And the Jasmine Rice, with its delicate aroma and fluffy texture, was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. But, what about the founders of Shoyu? I was curious to learn more about the team behind this innovative cloud kitchen. It turns out that Shoyu was launched in February 2022 by Chaitanya Akkineni, Varun Tripuraneni, Akshay Quenim, and Tanveer Kwatra. With a focus on quality, consistency, and innovative packaging, Shoyu has become a favourite among foodies in Hyderabad in no time. And, did you know that Shoyu has completed its 3rd anniversary recently? That’s quite an achievement for a cloud kitchen that’s still relatively new to the scene, yeah? No wonder that the brand has become quite the market disruptor in the premium delivery space. But, what really sets Shoyu apart is its commitment to quality and consistency. Each dish is carefully crafted to ensure that it meets the highest standards of taste and presentation. And, with a focus on eco-friendly packaging, Shoyu is also doing its part for the environment. In fact, Shoyu’s packaging is so innovative that it’s been designed to keep the sushi at the perfect temperature. The eco-friendly packaging is made from sustainable materials and is fully recyclable. But, don’t just take my word for it. Shoyu has an impressive 78% repeat customer loyalty rate, which is a testament to its commitment to quality and consistency. Both Swiggy and Zomato deliver from Shoyu. That apart, the brand has also made its presence felt at food and music festivals, not to mention several private events. Shoyu is a must-try for anyone who loves Pan Asian cuisine.
