Hyderabad: The Secunderabad station being developed at the cost of `700 crore to serve the needs of passengers for the next 50 years will be on par with international airports when the work is completed in 2026, said minister of state for railways Ravneet Singh. After an inspection of the work, Singh said it would be a green energy station with solar panels to harness solar energy and sewerage treatment plants to reduce water pollution, apart from several passenger amenities.SCR General Manager Arun Kumar Jain said that four major terminals in the twin cities area will witness remarkable changes. Besides Secunderabad and Charlapalli railway stations, the proposals for the development of Hyderabad and Kacheguda stations were in the final stage, he informed.According to PTI, the minsiter alleged that investigations into accidents had revealed “some dangerous things” and “conspiracies.” Asked about the recent railway accidents, Singh said: “Yesterday, an alloy wheel was found on (railway track in Aligarh). It means big conspiracies are also being revealed.”He said, “attempts are being made by some people in foreign countries to disrupt railways which is a lifeline of the country,” he said. The recent railway accidents… indicated that they were done “intentionally,” he said.
