Malayalam actress Samyuktha Menon is going to share screen space with Nandamuri Balakrishna in his upcoming film ‘Akhanda 2’. “Talented actress Samyuktha has been roped in to play the female lead in the movie and she is doing a meaty role and has scope to perform,’ says producer Raam Achanta who described his film as magnum opus being helmed by Boyapati Sreenu.This sequel to their previous blockbuster Akhanda is set to take the action and intensity to a whole new level, combining spiritual elements, and powerful drama with breathtaking sequences, he adds. He says the shooting is underway and expected to conclude in May. “Our sequel will be much bigger and expansive and our timing looks right since sequels are rocking the box office,” he adds.Actually, Samyuktha is making waves in Tollywood with big hits like ‘Sir’, ‘Virupaksha’, and ‘Bimbisara’ and has been quite selective and picking roles with substance and now Akhanda 2 adds another feather to her steaming cap.
