Kurnool: P. Ramachandra, the state president of Rythu Sangham, has called upon the government to provide immediate support to farmers in Kurnool district who have been severely impacted by heavy rainfall. During a press interaction in Yemmiganur on Tuesday, he emphasised the urgent need for compensation to cover the losses incurred due to damaged crops.With widespread crop destruction and farmers facing mounting debt, Ramachandra urged the government to conduct a thorough survey of the affected areas and provide financial assistance. He proposed a compensation rate of `60,000 per acre for onion, cotton, and chili crops, and `40,000 per acre for other crops.
