Revanth Reddy returns to Hyderabad after successful Davos tour

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has returned to Hyderabad after completing his successful tour of Davos. He arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) via Dubai, where Congress leaders and activists gave him a grand welcome. They praised him for making both his Singapore and Davos tours a success, securing significant investments for the state.During the Davos trip, the Telangana government signed agreements with several companies, securing investments worth ₹1,78,950 crore. This is a substantial increase compared to the ₹40,232 crore in investments received during his previous visit. With these new investments, nearly 50,000 jobs are expected to be created. A total of 20 companies have entered into agreements with the state government.The Telangana Rising delegation, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, concluded its tour of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos by attracting investments worth ₹1.78 lakh crore, which is expected to generate employment opportunities for 49,550 people.Mr. Reddy, accompanied by Industries and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu and senior bureaucrats, succeeded in convincing global players to consider Telangana. The biggest individual investments include Amazon — ₹60,000 crore, Sun Petrochemicals — ₹45,500 crore, Tillman Global Holdings — ₹15,000 crore, Megha Engineering — ₹15,000 crore, among others, according to a release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
