KARIMNAGAR: Ramagundam Police Commissioner Amber Kishore Jha on Wednesday inaugurated a mega free health camp for police personnel, retired staff, home guards, and their families at the Commissionerate Office in Peddapalli district.Organised under the jurisdiction of the Ramagundam Police Commissionerate, the camp provided many medical services, including consultations in General Medicine, Cardiology, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Dentistry. CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) awareness was also a key feature.Essential diagnostic tests like blood sugar screening, ECG, 2D Echo, CFT, and eye and dental examinations were conducted based on medical advice. A live CPR demonstration by specialist doctors was also held, with Commissioner Jha actively participating to highlight the importance of emergency life-saving skills.Commissioner Jha also underwent an eye check-up during the camp and discussed common health issues faced by police personnel with attending doctors. He urged officers to not only get tested but also to follow up with recommended care, stressing the need for regular exercise, yoga, and a nutritious diet to counter the physical and mental stress of policing.”Police work demands round-the-clock dedication. Health awareness is crucial for our personnel to function at their best,” he said. He thanked the participating hospitals, doctors, and support staff for their contributions.
