Happening director Prashanth Varma, fresh off the blockbuster success of HanuMan, has inaugurated a swanky new office in Hyderabad, marking a significant step forward in his filmmaking journey. According to sources, the director had long aspired to have a workspace of his own and finally turned that dream into reality.“He’s built this new office with the intent of delivering more hits and anchoring the next phase of his creative journey,” a source revealed. The facility will serve as the creative hub for his upcoming project, Mahakali, a highly anticipated installment in the ever-expanding Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU). “There’s nationwide anticipation building around the PVCU’s next wave of films,” the source added.Known for his flair in blending mythology and superhero storytelling, Prashanth is also assembling a top-tier Visual Effects (VFX) team. “He’s in talks with several VFX experts and plans to bring them onboard full-time,” the source explained. “Given that his films are VFX-heavy, especially in the socio-fantasy genre, he wants a dedicated in-house team to maintain quality and consistency.”The director, who previously had to rely on VFX talent from Chennai, Mumbai, and even overseas for HanuMan, is now focused on building his team to streamline production. “Socio-fantasy films typically require 1200 to 1600 VFX shots to convincingly portray fantastical worlds and characters. Having an expert in-house team will help deliver that magic,” the insider said.With his new office and growing team, Prashanth Varma is setting the stage for a larger-than-life cinematic experience for pan-India audiences.
