Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Anandpur Dham under Isagarh Tehsil of Ashok Nagar district in Madhya Pradesh on Friday, reaffirming his commitment to promoting India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. An official press release issued here on Thursday said Mr. Modi, during his visit to Anandpur Dham, will offer prayers at the Guru Ji Maharaj temple, and move around the shrine complex. Official sources said Mr. Modi is scheduled to address the devotees gathered at the Anandpur Dham before winding up his Madhya Pradesh tour. Anandpur Dham, established for spiritual and philanthropic purposes, spans 315 hectares. It houses modern gaushala (cowshed) with over 500 bovines and runs agriculture activities in the vast campus of Shri Anandpur Trust. The trust has been operating a charitable hospital in the village of Sukhpur under Isagarh tehsil, since 1977. The hospital has 125 inpatient beds. The trust also runs several schools.
