The developments in Bihar show that “political secularism” is used only to betray Muslims in the country, Owaisi claimed.The AIMIM leader said he hopes that Muslims and the “secular minded” people, not only in Bihar but in the entire country, would see how votes are obtained in the name of secularism in elections and how they are later put in the “bags of RSS, Modi”.Alleging that JD(U) led by Kumar, RJD and BJP have “deceived” the people of Bihar, he said the people would teach them a befitting lesson.The new regime of JD(U)-BJP would be, in reality, a government of BJP-RSS and that Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav are responsible for it, he claimed.The JD(U) and RJD claimed to be guardians of secularism.What will they say now in view of the BJP becoming a partner in the new government? he asked.On the demands for quotas for Marathas in Maharashtra, he said reservations can be given them.But, why are quotas not given to backward classes among Muslims in the state? he asked.Owaisi expressed support for the caste census announced by the Congress government in Telangana.
