VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the AP budget for 2025–26 at his residence in Undavalli on Wednesday.The annual budget is scheduled to be presented in both the houses of the state legislature on February 28. The assembly session will start from February 24.Those present at the review with the CM included finance minister Payyavula Keshav and top officials.Sources said as already announced, Super Six schemes are to be implemented from this year. Budget allocations have been discussed for these schemes, including Thalliki Vandanam, Annadata Sukhibhav and free bus travel for women.Chandrababu Naidu instructed officials to maintain balance between development programmes as well as the welfare schemes while making budgetary allocations.Sources said the Chief Minister told officials how they can overcome issues related to fund allocations in order to maintain the balance between welfare and development.
