Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi along with his family members offered prayers to Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala on Thursday. On the occasion of his 69th birthday, Chiranjeevi participated in the hour-long suprabhatha seva, the first seva after the temple is opened, which is conducted for an hour. Endowments Minister Anam Ram Narayan Reddy, and Tirupati City MLA Arani Srinivasulu and others accompanied him. TTD officials received him at the temple and escorted him to a special darshan. After having darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy, Chiranjeevi and his family members were offered ‘vedasirvachanam’, ‘prasadhams’, vastram and teertham in Ranganayakula mandapam. However, the TTD security personnel had a tough time controlling the fans of megastar who gathered in large numbers outside the temple to see him despite it being early morning. Megastar is waiting for his upcoming film ‘Vishwambhara’ to showcase his crowd pulling prowess after his not so impressive outing Bhola Shankar.
