Hyderabad: A fatal stabbing occurred in Medchal district on Saturday, where a man was killed by his son within the Kushaiguda police station limits. The victim, 45-year-old Arelli Mogili, and his 25-year-old son, Sai Kumar, were residents of Lalapet and worked for a packers and movers company.According to police reports, Sai Kumar was driven to violence due to his father’s frequent, alcohol-fuelled domestic quarrels. On Saturday, Sai Kumar followed his father, who had boarded a bus, on a motorcycle. When Mogili disembarked at the ECIL bus terminal, Sai Kumar confronted and stabbed him.Mogili sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a private hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds during treatment. The attack was captured on CCTV cameras. Police arrested Sai Kumar at the scene and launched an investigation. Mogili’s body was sent to Gandhi Hospital for a postmortem examination.
