Man attempts to shoot SAD’s Sukhbir Badal outside Golden Temple, caught by security

A man attempted to fire at Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal outside the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Wednesday. Badal, who was sitting in a wheelchair, escaped unhurt as the bullet hit a wall. The man, identified as Narain Singh, was overpowered by some people standing outside the Golden Temple.Badal had been performing the duty of ‘sewadar’ outside the Golden Temple when the attack took place. He was was serving the ‘tankhah’ (religious punishment) given by the Akal Takht at the Golden Temple.(This is a developing story)
