The Lok Sabha was adjourned until 12 noon on Tuesday following protests by opposition members, who sought to raise various issues.As the House convened, Speaker Om Birla addressed the disruptions that have plagued proceedings in recent days. He emphasised the importance of maintaining the dignity and high standards of the Lok Sabha, the cornerstone of the world’s largest democracy.“Our democracy reflects the hopes and aspirations of the people. Maintaining the dignity of this House is our collective responsibility,” Birla said.However, opposition MP’s resumed their protests as Question Hour began, prompting Birla to adjourn the House until noon.
