Kurnool: Industries, commerce, and food processing Minister T.G. Bharath praised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s historic decision during the cabinet meeting in Amaravati on Wednesday, which he said was made to honour the sentiments of the people of Kurnool. The CM announced that the offices of the Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission (APSHRC) and Lokayukta will remain in Kurnool. Minister Bharath explained that public representatives from Rayalaseema had urged the CM to retain these offices in Kurnool, and the decision reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring equal development across all regions. He added that the move would bring justice and governance closer to the people of Rayalaseema.The minister thanked the Chief Minister for considering the people’s concerns and assured that the establishment of a High Court bench in Kurnool, as promised during the elections, is already underway. He emphasised that the alliance government is fulfilling its promises and is committed to the region’s development. He urged the people to trust the government, as the formation of the High Court bench will greatly benefit the people of Rayalaseema.
