Hyderabad: Endowment minister Konda Surekha carried the ‘bonam’ and offered silk clothes to the Goddess at the Sri Jagadambika temple in Golconda fort, at the start of the Bonalu festivities on Sunday.Surekha also visited Ujjaini Mahankali temple in Secunderabad and took part in special pooja. She was accompanied by minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Reddy and endowment commissioner Hanumanth Rao. Surekha also offered Bonalu at the Katta Maisamma temple on Lower Tank Bund Road.Union minister G. Kishan Reddy also took part in Bonalu festival at the Katta Maisamma temple.
