Vijayawada: Excise minister Kollu Ravindra said the previous YSRC party’s alcohol scam is getting uncovered continuously.“The former No. 2 in YSRC, Vijay Sai Reddy, has implicated himself in the ongoing alcohol scam. High profile figures within the YSRC government have started feeling the heat. All hidden truths, including the “Real Big Boss” behind the liquor scandal, will come out into the open,” Ravindra declared.He disclosed that details of financial misdeeds are emerging. “The YSRC government had been riddled with corruption and ineffectiveness. This led to delays in development projects like Amaravati and Polavaram,” he observed. The minister said YSRC, now in the opposition, is politicising arrests linked to the liquor scam out of sheer desperation.Ravindra reiterated that the NDA coalition government has embarked on the path of development. He highlighted NDA’s initiatives for poverty alleviation, including significant allocations for pensions and free gas cylinder schemes that uplift the economically disadvantaged. The minister asserted that the coalition government is striving to reshape Machilipatnam and the surrounding regions into thriving, modern entities.He asserted that overall, the NDA government is diligently working to reconstruct Andhra Pradesh “brick by brick.”
