HYDERABAD: BRS president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is all set to return to action on Wednesday with a meeting at Telangana Bhavan, where he is expected to provide a road map for the party for the coming months on ways and means to take on the Congress government. BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao had instructed that all party state executive members, current and former elected leaders to attend the meeting.The event comes in the run to the state Assembly budget session expected to be held in March, and possible elections to gram panchayats and municipalities subsequently. The party has launched a campaign of sorts on this front with Rama Rao and other leaders holding public meetings with farmers and calling on people to challenge Congress leaders on their unkept election promises to the people.Also expected to be discussed is the ongoing case in the Supreme Court against 10 BRS MLAs who quit the party to join the Congress. The BRS has been fighting to get these MLAs disqualified and has been expressing confidence that this will happen soon and the state will see bypolls in which it claims it will demonstrate that there is a groundswell of support for Chandrashekar Rao.
