Hyderabad: The Karnataka police have announced a Rs 5-lakh cash award for information leading to the arrest of a couple of armed robbers who killed a security guard in Bidar, made off with Rs 93 lakh, and opened fire on a private travels bus manager in Afzalgunj on January 16. The accused were identified as Aman Kumar and Alok Kumar alias Ashutosh Aka Ambani, natives of Mahisaur near Jandaha block of Vaishali district of Bihar. They were also wanted by the UP police for 18 months who have announced a reward of `4 lakh on each of them. Karnataka police further confirmed that Aman Kumar was a native of Fatehpur Phulwaria of Vaishali district in Bihar and Alok Kumar was also from the same district. Karnataka police announced that the identity of the informants would be kept confidential.
