Nellore: Jana Sena Party leaders have strongly condemned the offensive remarks made on social media against Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and his family members. At the behest of AP TIDCO chairman Vemulapati Ajay, JS workers have registered multiple cases at Nellore Rural DSP office, Rural Police Station, and other police stations across Nellore.Jana Sena leaders demanded strict action against those who made disrespectful comments, including threats, such as “Show your faces and post again—let’s see if you remain alive.” The leaders called for immediate legal action against such uncivilised posts.JS district general secretary Gunukula Kishore asked alliance partners and senior political figures to ensure such individuals are not spared, warning that failure to act will deter ethical leadership in the future. He maintained that while criticism of political ideologies or party performance is acceptable, personal abuse and derogatory comments about family members are unethical and unacceptable.Kishore emphasised that individuals with values and a sense of familial responsibility would not stoop to using vulgar language. Posting defamatory content against public figures and their families on social media is not only emotionally hurtful but also morally wrong.“Let’s spread knowledge, not hatred. Freedom of speech is vital, but it must come with responsibility. Let’s use technology to unite people, not divide them,” the JS leader stated.Others who protested include Rishikesh Yadav, senior leader Ravikumar, office in-charges Jameer and Sudha Madhav and district joint secretary Prashant.
