JAC urges Kesava Rao to resolve employees’ woes

Hyderabad: The Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee on Wednesday met government’s adviser K. Kesava Rao and submitted a representation before him seeking welfare of employees in the state.JAC chairman V. Lachi Reddy said the goal of the JAC is to solve the problems of government employees and there is a need for the government to try to solve the problems of employees as soon as possible.A meeting was held with leaders of Telangana employee unions to discuss various problems facing the government employees.The JAC delegation presented a memorandum to the special invitee of the cabinet sub-committee K. Kesava Rao.Their demands included cashless treatment for employees in corporate hospitals, rise of ceiling on medical reimbursement bills and advance clearance of pending bills, provision of Rs 10 lakh through green channel on priority basis through e-Kuber and regular transfers.Their other demands included medical and disability cases under GO 317, central spouse cases and inter-district spouse be identified as future vacancies in GO 317 transfers, employees transferred to other zones according to seniority should be taken back in future vacancies arising in the zones/multi zones where they previously worked.
