India is the largest market in the world in terms of Meta AI usage, said Meta CFO Susan Li.Meta has reported its second-quarter earnings, where it announced that the revenue is up by 22 per cent this quarter. During the earnings call, Susan Li said India is the largest market in terms of Meta AI usage.“We’re seeing particularly promising signs on WhatsApp in terms of retention and engagement, which has coincided with India becoming our largest market for Meta AI usage,” she said.Meta AI was launched first in the United States in 2023 and In India, it was made available to users in June 2024. Users can use Meta AI in all its platforms – WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger.Users can directly interact with AI chatbot and they generate images, summarize texts and perform writing tasks.Meta AI is available in 22 countries and in the month of July, the social media giant introduced seven more languages which includes Hindi. Now, the users can interact with Meta AI in these languages – French, German, Hindi, Hindi-Romanized Script, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish, with more languages to be added in future.On July 23, Meta unveiled its latest open-source large language model (LLM) “Llama 3.1” which is said to have outperformed OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
