Hyderabad: HYDRAA officials conducted a survey at Ameenpur on Tuesday after residents of Venkataramana Colony complained about the encroachment of parks and roadways by a private company.The residents complained that more than one acre of park and road land was encroached by Golden Key Ventures, and filed a complaint in the High Court. As per the orders of the High Court, HYDRAA conducted the survey.HYDRAA officials, along with those of joint director of the survey and land records department verified 150 acres spanning five survey numbers. The surveys were conducted in the presence of Venkataramana Colony and Chakrapuri Colony residents, managers of Golden Key Ventures and other villagers.On November 1, colony residents had met HYDRAA commissioner A.V. Ranganath on November 1 and informed him about the encroachments. They complained that the firm has encroached on the park and other roadways in survey no 153’s HUDA-permitted layout.
