Hyderabad: The excise police arrested five persons and seized 2.9 kilograms of marijuana and other synthetic drugs worth Rs.4 lakh from them, V.B. Kamalasan Reddy director of excise and enforcement, said. Uppal excise police CI Subhash Chandra said Jagdish Reddy and V. Ajay, both from AP, were held with 18 grams of MDMA, 1.24 kg of marijuana and non-duty paid liquor, near Chilkanagar Uppal. The STF raids under Charminar excise police arrested Azim Ahmed Khan and seized 1.2 kg of ganja. In Saroornagar, excise cops seized 340 grams of marijuana from Pothuganti Anil and Mogili Saikumar.
