Hyderabad: Even as a manhunt is on to nab the two-armed robbers, who were involved in firing incidents at Afzalgunj and Bidar, the police found that the assailants changed their clothes and trolley bags containing currency bundles at Trimulgherry to prevent from identifying them and headed towards Suchitra junction near Kompally. The assailants dumped their clothes and bags in a secluded place in Trimulgherry and fled. It was suspected that the accused came to the railway station in an auto rickshaw to board a train. On seeing heightened surveillance at the railway station, they went to Trimulgherry, changed their clothes and bags and headed to their native place in Bihar by road. The police are examining the footage collected from CCTVs installed at the travel agency office in Afzalgunj where the firing incident took place on Thursday to Secunderabad railway station and at Trimulgherry. At Afzalgunj, one of the robbers opened fire at the travel agency manager Jahangir injuring him in the leg and abdomen on Thursday in their bid to escape. Before reaching Afzalgunj, the assailants allegedly shot dead two security guards at an ATM kiosk in Bidar and looted Rs.93 lakh.
