Hyderabad: HMWS&SB managing director Ashok Reddy visited Red Hills on Sunday to oversee emergency repairs on a damaged 825-mm pipeline, which transports water from Asifnagar filter beds to the Red Hills reservoir.HMWS&SB officials completed the work by 4 pm and restored supply to the affected areas. During his inspection, Reddy reviewed the progress of the work and directed that road repairs start immediately after pipeline restoration. Emphasising the importance of infrastructure integrity, he urged the strengthening of the newly installed pipeline and the updating of its details in the GIS system to enhance water supply and sewage management.
