A gunman opened fire at a school in central Russia on Monday, killing at least six people and injuring twenty, according to the Associated Press.
The shooting took place at school number 88 in the city of Izhevsk. Almost 1000 pupils and 80 teachers are in the school.
Media reports claim that the attacker allegedly killed the security guard before going on to shoot at the children.
It was later reported that the shooter allegedly shot himself in one of the classrooms.
Visuals shared on TV channels show the school being evacuated and ambulances arriving at the scene.
