The Indian government has launched a new Aadhaar app that aims to revolutionize how citizens verify their identity — with no need for physical Aadhaar cards or photocopies anymore. Introduced by Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at the third edition of Aadhaar Samvaad, the app is currently in beta testing. What’s New in the App? The app allows selective sharing of Aadhaar information, with user consent.
