Hyderabad: GHMC on Friday removed footpath and road encroachments at the Nallakunta vegetable market.Several vendors protested the move, saying that their shops were their only source of income, and they had not been given prior notice. Many of them tried to stop the demolition but were cleared by the Nallakunta police. GHMC staff removed several stalls, sheds and carts which were occupying the footpath and main road of Nallakunta.
