But within a week, the car was completely destroyed in a sudden fire while he was driving on the expressway. Fortunately, Honkon noticed the flames in time, pulled over, and managed to escape unharmed. Firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the blaze in about 20 minutes, but by then, the vehicle was reduced to charred metal. Only a portion of the front bumper remained intact. No crash preceded the fire, and the exact cause remains unclear. The Metropolitan Police Department has launched an investigation into the incident. Honkon shared his devastation online, calling the loss of his dream car a “nightmare.” The Ferrari 458 Spider, known for its speed and style, is a symbol of luxury — making its fiery end all the more tragic.
