A senior functionary noted that various names are doing the rounds as the potential face of party’s national president, with the election process anticipated to commence in November, in line with the party’s internal timeline.“Vinod Tawde, who is spearheading the party’s membership drive and in-charge of Bihar BJP, is known for his organisational experience and abilities. His is among a few names being discussed for the top party post after Devendra Fadnavis,” said a source.Other names being talked about are Dr K Laxman (BJP OBC Morcha national president) and Sudha Yadav, who is also member of the Central Parliamentary Board and Central Election Committee. “She is well educated with a PhD in Chemistry from IIT Roorkee and has a good impression within the party and Sangh,” said a senior party source.The name of Union minister Bhupendra Yadav is also prominently figuring as a probable face for the new party chief.
