Hyderabad: Boppuri Anand Kumar, an executive director and full-additional charge general manager at Telangana Scheduled Castes Co-Operative Development Corporation Limited (TSCCDCL), was on Thursday caught red-handed taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh, the Anti-Corruption Bureau said.Kumar had demanded Rs 1.3 lakh in bribe for doing an official favour of processing sanctioned bills of Rs 33.32 lakh. The tainted amount was recovered from the possession of Kumar.The right hand fingerprints of Kumar and the bottle inside the upper drawer of his office table yielded positive results in a chemical test. Details of the complainant are withheld for security reasons.ACB officials arrested Kumar and produced him before the special court in Nampally. Kumar was remanded in judicial custody.
