The ghastly incident of the alleged kidnap, rape and murder of the little girl by her young neighbour, had come to light on Thursday, after her body was recovered from a plastic container hidden in the bathroom of the next-door flat in a multi-storeyed residential building in Bhopal’s Shajahanabad area.Three, including the prime accused (a 30-year-old man who has already been an accused in the past in 5-6 cases, including a molestation case), his mother and sister have so far been arrested in connection with the incident. While the main accused is on three-day police remand, his mother and sister were sent to jail on Friday.The chilling crime happened less than ten days after a 30-year-old school teacher-cum-technical staff was arrested by Bhopal police for sexually assaulting a three and half year old pre-nursery student girl within private school premises multiple times.Sexual offences against minors have not just been reported from Bhopal in the last few days, but such incidents have happened all across the state, including Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Satna, Betul and Harda.
