Hyderabad: Director General of Police (DGP) Ravi Gupta sought inputs from senior officers to enhance traffic flow within GHMC limits for the convenience of the public including the implementation of visible policing and training the staff on modern methods.He was speaking at a review of the traffic situation in the GHMC at his office, on Tuesday. Officials briefed DGP Gupta on traffic conditions around new skywalks and flyovers. The officials emphasized the situation of bridges in the Musi river area, proposed traffic awareness programmes, and the establishment of a training centre.Intelligence chief B. Shivadhar Reddy, additional DGP Sanjay Kumar Jain, police commissioners Avinash Mohanty (Cyberabad) and G. Sudheer Babu (Rachakonda), Hyderabad additional commissioner Vikram Singh Mann, city traffic additional commissioner Vishwa Prasad and IG Tarun Joshi were present.Expressing the need for further improvement in the traffic conditions, the DGP emphasised the importance of special measures for public convenience. He directed officials to promptly act on the recommendations provided, according to a statement.
