Karimnagar: Ramagundam police, under the leadership of commissioner M. Srinivas, tried to raise public awareness about the use of smart anti-theft alarm locks and magnetic sensors for doors and windows. The event was held at the Ramagundam police commissionerate office on Saturday.Commissioner Srinivas emphasised the importance of incorporating advanced security technologies, such as anti-theft alarms and magnetic sensors, to prevent burglaries. He noted that these devices, which can be installed on homes, garages, offices, warehouses, and other facilities, act as a strong deterrent against intruders. The alarms, capable of producing sounds in the 105 to 110 decibel range, alert not only the property’s occupants but also nearby residents, effectively disrupting burglary attempts. “By securing entry points, people can significantly reduce the risk of theft and contribute to a safer community,” he said. The commissioner urged residents to adopt these modern security measures as a proactive step to safeguard their properties and support the police in controlling crime.
