Hyderabad: Cadets of NCC Group Hyderabad have always been at the forefront of all activities held under the aegis of NCC Directorate Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with Colonel Anil Kumar being at the helm of affairs. In a formal ceremony, Colonel Anil Kumar handed over the charge of the NCC Group Hyderabad to Colonel Prashant Kumar. The handover marks the completion of Colonel Anil Kumar’s tenure as the Group Commander of Hyderabad, a role he has held since January 1, 2023. During tenure of Colonel Anil, a lot of training infrastructure like Obstacle Course, Squad Posts, Training Sheds, 800 Camp Stools, Drill Nursery was established. Under Colonel Anil Kumar’s leadership, the NCC Group Hyderabad has flourished, with cadets consistently leading in various activities conducted by the NCC Directorate Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. His strategic direction and hands-on approach have ensured that the group remains at the forefront of youth empowerment and national service. The group has achieved remarkable milestones, including participation in national-level events like All India Thal Sainik Camp, All India Vayu Sainik Camp, Republic Day Camp, adventure camps and community service projects, reflecting the commitment of the cadets to service and leadership. Colonel Prashant Kumar, who takes over as the new Group Commander, is set to continue this legacy of excellence. With a strong background in leadership and military service, Colonel Prashant Kumar is expected to steer the group towards even greater achievements. Colonel Prashant Kumar brings with him a wealth of experience and leadership expertise, and it is expected that under his command, the group will continue to build on the successes achieved so far. The handover ceremony was attended by all the officers of the group, whom expressed their gratitude for Colonel Anil Kumar’s leadership and their enthusiasm for the new chapter with Colonel Prashant Kumar at the helm.
